Volunteer Opportunities

TAKE ACTION!

A synagogue is only a building if it weren’t for the people, services, schools, and activities that fill it with spirit. B’nai Torah Congregation prides itself in being a home for our families, a community for our members, and a refuge for those in need of comfort.

Volunteers have always been a critical component to the wonderful programming that we do, but in these times of economic hardships and budgetary constraints, volunteers have become a necessity for us to continue unhampered.

All our volunteers will receive training and orientation and learn marketable skills while volunteering and helping to accomplish necessary tasks. Can you give lots of time or just a little? Can you be on call specific days or times or need only certain days? Choose what works best for you. We want to make it as easy as possible for people like you to transform your passions into action.

So, if we are to keep up the level of service and programming, then we need YOU! Yes, YOU! Please email Cheri.kalvort@bnai-torah.org or call her at 561.392.8566 x307 to let her know we can count on you. We will then send you a form that you can use to help us match your talents and interests with our needs. Help your B’nai Torah and get great satisfaction, too.

“I always wondered why somebody didn’t do something about that. Then I realized I was somebody” --Lily Tomlin
